Profile
I completed my undergraduate study at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. I continue with my pursuit for the PhD degree under the guidance of Prof. L. V. Kale at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign starting from Fall 2001.

Research:

My research is focused on parallel programming language. I have been working on Adaptive MPI, an implementation and extension of the MPI standard, optimizing its performance on various platforms. My thesis topic will be Charisma, a parallel programming language that allows expression of overall flow of control of complicated programs.
