About me

I got my PhD in Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (UIUC). My area of research is Parallel Computing and I was advised by Prof Laxmikant Kale. I finished my Masters at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 2012. I interned at Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL) in summer 2013 where I worked with Dr Abhinav Bhatele.

I am interested in improving the performance of parallel applications that are run on hundreds of thousands of cores. My research focuses on developing scalable load balancing algorithms and adaptive run time techniques to improve the performance of large scale dynamic applications. In addition, I work on optimizing performance of N-body codes, such as the cosmology simulation application ChaNGa, which is a collaborative research project between UIUC and University of Washington.

Previously, I worked at Google before pursuing graduate studies.
